I have a deal brewing over a new looking B2910 with almost no hours. It is three years old and that means no warranty. This being a used tractor I miss out on the 0% interest free loan making the deal only about $1,300.00 better than a new tractor with full warranty. What’s up with that?

Art, I was wondering if that is the case. The price quoted for this unit is $10,850.00 plus tax. How much is a 3 year warrenty worth on a tractor.
And what about the 2001 year model record...was it a good year...
Thanks ....

Ferrari, Thanks for the response...are you saying that the price difference is to small but the warranty will most likley "not" be used anyway? I have heard this from a friend too, he said the dealer should at the very least give me some incentives on the impliment purchases to encourage my business. The dealer is standing firm and I know that there will be some added costs for items I have left off my shoping list... ....

Look, I sure you know I am expressing only my feelings here, but I can not see any reason for that little of a difference you would want to get the used tractor......Just for the fact that you would be getting a brand NEW tractor for Only a nominal amount of money more.......to me it is a no brainer.....Now, if it was a difference of maybe.....say......$5000.00 ....then maybe.....but a new tractor is a NEW TRACTOR!!!!!
I just got my B-2910 about a month ago.....with a 72" MMM, and I paid $15,800.00 walk out price....so I hope that helps you check the price of yours...
Here are two picture of my new tractor:

Ferrari, The thing about the new tractor is the knowledge of history and maintinance. I am removed from the original owner through the dealership and in looking at the almost never used "used tractor" there are a few pins missing??? These are cheap and easy replace but what have I not found and with the little cost difference a small repair could make the tiny difference go away...
A new tractor with full warranty only is quoted to be around 12.8k with 0% 36 months and the used one is offered at 10.85k standard financing. Just doesn't add up to a good deal.
I guess I'm still looking for a good deal... ....
